OpenBacktest is $29 a month, cancel any time. This page says exactly when money comes back.

Cancelling

Cancel from your account settings whenever you like. No email, no call, no retention offer. Your access runs to the end of the month you have paid for and you are not charged again.

When we refund

• First charge, within 7 days. If you subscribe and decide within 7 days that it is not for you, email us and we refund the first month in full. One first-month refund per person.
• Duplicate or mistaken charges. Refunded in full as soon as we see them.
• Extended outage. If the service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours in a billing month because of a fault on our side, you can request that month refunded.
• Shutdown. If we discontinue the service, any prepaid period past the shutdown date is refunded automatically.

When we do not

• Partial months after the first 7 days. Cancel instead; you keep access until the period ends.
• Months in which you did not log in. The subscription is for availability, not usage.
• Dissatisfaction with backtest results. The tool reports what the data says.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the charge date. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please ask us first. A chargeback filed without contacting us costs more than the subscription and results in the account being closed.
